| |
- The applicant must be an active life member for a minimum of three years.
- He/she must have presented at least one papers/abstract at the MTS Congress in the past three years; prize winners will be given priority.
- If he/she is in receipt of funding from alternate sources, the source(s), quantum and expenses covered must be clearly declared in the application form.
- Submissions deemed to be of sufficient merit; accepted abstract with acceptance letter / letter of invitation to present must be submitted with the application.
- Frequency of receipt of the Grant should not be more than once in 3 years.
- Maximum amount for sponsorship within the Asia Pacific region is up to RM 5,000/-.
- Maximum amount for sponsorship outside the Asia Pacific region (eg., US/Europe) is up to RM 10,000/-.
- Sponsorship will cover expenses for economy air ticket, hotel accommodation to a maximum of the equivalent to USD 200 per night for up to four nights, and meeting registration.
- Disbursement is subject to submission of valid original receipts for the items in No. 8.
- The decision of the Council will be final.

This grant will be disbursed twice per year subject to the financial status of the Society.

We accept application 6 months prior to the conference.
-
The closing date for grant application to attend overseas conferences held during the first half of the year is 31 March of the same year; whereas the closing date for grant application to attend overseas conferences held during second half of the year is 30 September of the same year.
