On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to warmly invite you to attend the Malaysian Thoracic Society Annual Congress 2012 to be held at the Pullman Kuching, Sarawak, from 6th to 8th July 2012. This is the first time the Malaysian Thoracic Society Congress will be held in Sarawak. Serendipitously, this conference will coincide with the first anniversary of the establishment of the Respiratory Medicine Unit in Sarawak General Hospital.

An exciting scientific programme has been prepared and speakers of both local and international renown have been invited to share their experience. We sincerely believe that by participating in this Congress, you will be able to deliver better respiratory care to your patients.

A social programme with a strong Sarawak flavour will be arranged. Among the list of must-sees are the Semenggoh Orang Utan Wildlife Centre and the Sarawak Cultural Village.
