It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Lung Cancer Symposium (LCS) 2027, taking place from 22–24 April 2027 at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur.

Under the theme, “Reimagining the Future of Lung Cancer Care”, LCS 2027 brings together healthcare professionals and experts committed to advancing thoracic oncology. As the field continues to evolve rapidly, the symposium provides a timely platform to explore emerging innovations, exchange ideas and strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration.

The programme has been thoughtfully curated to cover the full spectrum of lung cancer care, from early detection and diagnosis to precision medicine, surgery, systemic therapies, supportive care and survivorship. Participants can look forward to expert lectures, interactive multidisciplinary discussions, hands-on pre-congress workshops, scientific abstract presentations and industry-supported educational symposia, with a strong emphasis on translating new knowledge into clinical practice.

Beyond the scientific programme, LCS 2027 offers an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, establish new partnerships and collectively shape the future of lung cancer care.

Abstract Submission

Delegates are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster display.

GUIDELINES 

  • Text must be typed single-spaced, with only the left margin justified. Graphs, tables and illustrations cannot be included in the abstract.
  • Each abstract should not exceed 300 words (inclusive of the name of authors); and must be submitted in the template provided.
  • Title Case (all capital letter), Times New Roman font size 14, bold, Justify Alignment
  • Underline the name of the presenting author (Times New Roman font size 10, First Name, Surname)
  • Organise the Abstract under the following headlines – Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
  • The final selection will be the responsibility of the Scientific Committee.
  • Please provide complete information (correct email, full mailing address and contact number) in the submission form to enable us to process your submission.
  • Abstracts should be saved in Word document format (*.doc) and should not exceed 1mb in file size.

The closing date for receipt of abstracts is 15th January 2027 .
